In a heart-wrenching incident on Bainbridge Avenue, between East 193rd and 194th streets in the Bronx, NY, a fire on Monday, May 11, 2026, claimed the life of a one-year-old boy and left his 6-year-old twin siblings critically injured. In total, seven people were injured.

According to the FDNY, the fire started just before 3:40 p.m. at a six-story apartment. The fire broke out in a second-floor apartment.
