ARLENE COSTANZO ILG

Arlene Costanzo Ilg has been providing legal advice and representation to clients of Ronemus & Vilensky for over 25 years. Specializing in medical malpractice, lead poisoning, labor law, and other complex tort cases, including multiple dwelling fire cases that have recently become an all too familiar tragedy, Ms. Ilg has successfully litigated cases for the firm and its clients.

Ms. Ilg graduated from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and earned her Juris Doctor degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. She is an experienced researcher and writer whose work is consistently upheld by Appellate Division Courts. She has also contributed to several articles on construction site liability and lead poisoning that have been published in the New York Law Journal and other legal publications.

Ms. Ilg is a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association and volunteers her time to various charities, including those that help children and grieving families who have lost children. She is volunteering with her local Kawanis Club and the Toy Trot which raises funds and collects toy donations for local under privileged families and children. Ms. Ilg is also an advocate for families touched by epidermolysis bullosa (EB) and supports the EB Partnership which is involved in research to cure epidermolysis bullosa. She is an active member of the EB community providing support to families affected by EB.

NADIA LESCOTT

Ms. Lescott is an experienced litigator with almost two decades of advocating for plaintiff rights.  Her advocacy skills took shape when she began her legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in Bronx County in 2004. As an Assistant District Attorney, Ms. Lescott handled every type of case, from DUI to Attempted Homicide. 

Ms. Lescott handles high-profile media cases in the practice areas of civil rights, police abuse, and misconduct. She serves as one of the lead attorneys on the plaintiffs’ steering committee for a mass tort gas explosion litigation against the City of New York and Consolidate Edison. 

Her extensive trial and prosecutorial experience have allowed her to effectively investigate, uncover, and litigate complex legal issues for our clients to recover substantial monetary awards.  Ms. Lescott brings that unique and invaluable experience to personal injury cases that allow our clients to put confidence in her skills and in our firm. 

Ms. Lescott earned her B.A. from Middlebury College and graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Ms. Lescott was admitted in 2004 to practice in New York State Courts and later to the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York; and to practice in Pennsylvania in 2017. She holds memberships in the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, The New York Women’s Bar Association, American Bar Association, and the Bronx County Bar Association.  

Ms. Lescott volunteers her time as an executive board member of Family Promise of Lehigh
Valley, an organization aimed at helping stabilize homeless families. She also provides pro bono legal services through North Penn Legal Services.    

In her free time, Ms. Lescott enjoys spending time with her family, cooking with friends, and travelling.  

ERICA PODOLSKY

Ms. Podolsky is a skilled and experienced civil litigation attorney focusing on medical malpractice, personal injury, and sexual abuse cases. She currently represents victims of several tragic fires that have erupted throughout the New York area.  During the course of  her career, she has successfully prosecuted an array of medical malpractice cases, including catastrophic birth injury cases, failure to diagnose and treat cancer, and surgical malpractice cases. Ms. Podolsky represents her clients with empathy and understanding of the difficult and tragic circumstances that bring them to seek out legal representation.  She tirelessly fights to obtain each client’s deserved compensation from those whose negligence caused them harm.

Ms. Podolsky has practiced law with  Ronemus & Vilensky since 2010. She graduated from Pace University School of Law and is admitted to practice in New York State courts and in the Eastern and Southern District Courts of  New York.

MARTIN A. WOLFSON

For over 40 years, Martin A. Wolfson has successfully represented the interests of people injured due to defendant’s negligence. From inception through trial, Martin navigates a case through the litigation process so that Ronemus & Vilensky clients receive top compensation for the injuries they have suffered. While clients heal from their injuries, they are assured that they are aggressively represented in the battle with insurance companies to be awarded that compensation.

A magna cum laude graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles, Martin attended medical school at the University of Arizona College of Medicine before earning his law degree at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. He became a member of the New York State Bar in 1996. He has dedicated his entire professional career to helping injured people receive top compensation.

Martin litigates a wide range of cases including motor vehicle accidents, trip/slip and falls, construction accidents, security, fires, traumatic brain injury and medical malpractice. He simplifies the litigation, and provides counsel and advice to clients as the case proceeds to trial or resolution.
